It's been awhile since I did some cross-stitching. Fell in love with this design and decided to start it even though I have several unfinished WIPs. Will have to see how quickly I finish this. A part of me dreads the confetti stitching that will come, as I have learnt through Peacock Tapestry, but it's sooo pretty.

Started working on this while I'm waiting for my order of YLI Invisible thread to arrive so that I can start beading The Kiss.
04/30/2005:
Finally took the time to scan in a progress pic of my Peacock Tapestry. I had no idea how much confetti was involved in this design. I despair of ever having a neat back.

I foolishly used the wrong symbol for the tree trunks. Also had managed to miss the third strand of floss for the tree trunks. Glad I caught it before I had too much. Frogging is such a pain.

Came to a complete halt for 2003 due to wedding, work and school.
Is my first and will be my last embellished cross stitch project. It is such a pain to
try and figure out how to line up my stitches with the printed picture. Have recently started
up on it again. I don't really like working on it, but it bugs me to have something unfinished
like this.
I actually only worked on this for a couple of weeks in January 2004 before putting away. Guess this will be my UFO for a while yet.
